Plot
Set right after the end of WW II, American General Bonner Fellers, a leading Japanese expert, works on General Douglas MacArthur's staff and is put in charge of the Emperor Hirohito war crimes case. During the case, Fellers has a love affair with Aya, a Japanese exchange student he had met years earlier in the U.S.
