Plot
Free from daily responsibilities, crossing vas geographical distances, preoccupied largely with sex, music, alcohol, and conversation with friends, Sal Paradise and Dean Moriarty (Hedlund), roam the country in a quest for self-knowledge and experience. The story follows his ups and downs as he hitchhikes, hops trains, meets other travelers, struggles for meals and explores the themes of freedom and longing.
